1. Sonoscopia – Friday 25 August – The Meteor

Sonoscopia explores the relationship between what we see and what we hear. Live art and orchestral music take our senses from a single musical note and point of light to an opulent cacophony.

2.  Kirikiriroa Slam/Rap Spoken Word Competition – Friday 25 August – Creative Waikato

Hamilton City Libraries and Hamilton Slam Down Poetry are celebrating Phantom Billstickers National Poetry Day 2017 with a children/youth Open Mic and Slam (spoken word) Competition.

3. Music in the Round – Saturday 26 August – The Meteor

A unique concert featuring an Octet of high quality local talent, Music in the Round features a programme of music from the 18th century to the present day.

4. Hamilton Classic Car Parade – Sunday 27 August – Knox Street

Arrival time is 10am with an 11am start at Knox Street. The parade will continue onto the Classics Museum with a Show’n’Shine event until 2.30pm.

5. Hamilton BMX Club - Open Day – Sunday 27 August – Hamilton BMX Club

Come join us at the Hamilton BMX Club open day - for all ages and skill levels on pedal & balance bikes. Try out our track and get some information on BMX.
