30 January 2007
Resurfacing work along a busy section of road will be carried out during off-peak hours this week to minimise the effect on traffic.
On Wednesday and Thursday [31 January-1 February], Anglesea Street from Bryce Street to London Street is being milled - removing the road's top layer - and resurfaced.
The road works are dependent on weather conditions. If rain causes delays, the road works will be rescheduled for the next available fine day.
Traffic management will be in place. Anglesea Street will be open in both directions but will be reduced to single-laning in each.
This work is part of the re-surfacing programme.
