River path users are urged to avoid a section of the lower path below Waikato Museum today (Tuesday, 5 September) while tree management work is underway.
The work today involves use of machinery, and cyclists and walkers are asked to leave the path at Ferrybank and rejoin it further north, past the Victoria on the River closures, at Sky City or Alma St.
The upper path, between Grantham St and Sapper Moore Jones Pl, will remain open – as shown on the map.
The work is a pre-cursor to a larger tree removal project scheduled for Saturday, 9 September.
