With so much going on in Hamilton this weekend and next weekend, we have collated our fab five things to do.

1. Armistice Commemoration Service – Saturday 11 November – Memorial Park

The Armistice, announced at 11am on 11 November 1918, brought to an end all hostilities on the Western Front. The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month is now observed throughout the world as a time of remembrance for those who died during WWI.

2. Mane Event - A Celebration of the Horse – Saturday 11 November Claudelands Arena

Jousting, vaulting, comedy, grand parade, six-bar competition, history, Waikato mounted rifles, pony and wagon rides, petting zoo and food stalls.

3. An Island Celebration – Saturday 11 November – Garden Place

There will be international food stalls, children's activities, musical performances and an appearance from special guest Moana at 12.30pm.

4. All Ford Day – Sunday 12 November -  Claudelands Arena

Hosted by The Waikato Mustang Owners Club the 23rd Annual Henry Ford Memorial Day display and swap meet is coming to Claudelands!

5. Romeo & Juliet Friday 10 November to Saturday 18 November – The Meteor

You might know or have heard of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, but you definitely don’t know it like this!
