1. Late 80s Mercedes - Free Show – Friday 9 March – Victoria on the River

The 10 piece Late 80's Mercedes have succeeded in bringing the party whatever the occasion. With a knack for rearranging Top 40 songs into toe-tapping, funk-soul swing numbers. Join the band in the newly opened Victoria on the River city and enjoy a great night of FREE entertainment. 6.30pm to 8.00pm

2. Boon Festival 2018 – Friday 9 March to Sunday 11 March – Hamilton CBD and Frankton

The Boon Street Art festival is here because great cities are creative cities. Wall by wall, we are working with artists to transform the streets of Hamilton into places of creative expression and storytelling.

3. March Makers Market – Saturday 10 March – Victoria on the River

Come down to the new Victoria on the River beside the Riverbank Mall and feast your eyes on some amazing locally made arts and crafts! This free event will have live music, and there are plenty of lovely restaurants and cafes near by if you get peckish.

4. Haka - Māori Arts & Cultural Experience – Saturday 10 March and Sunday 11 March – Hamilton Gardens

HAKA provides a unique opportunity for the general public and visitors to experience a wide range of Māori cultural performances and interactive Māori visual art and cultural workshops in the very heart of the international award-winning Hamilton Gardens.  This event is being staged in support of the Waikato River Festival - He Piko He Taniwha!
