Hamilton City Council owns a range of buildings and centres for community use. This map (below) shows a range of council and non-council buildings and facilities which can be booked for meetings, small events, recreation or other group gatherings.

The Peak is an indoor recreation centre managed Rototuna Indoor Recreation Centre Trust. The $9.2 million facility opened in August 2017 by then-Prime Minister Bill English, and results from a partnership between the Ministry of Education, the Rototuna High Schools' Establishment Board of Trustees and Hamilton City Council. This facility is for sporting community use and includes bookable court space.
