-The Council has decided to waive rent for community groups and businesses who are tenants of Council owned property that are unable to pay rent. This includes community groups, sports clubs, businesses operating from council facilities (such as cafes), and other businesses that are tenants of Council and that can demonstrate hardship.

Applications are due 1 May 2020. Please note we will still accept applications after this time, however
we would like to get them in as soon as possible so we can start processing credits or
amending invoices to provide rent relief.
This relief is eligible for Community Occupancy groups that have experienced a minimum 30% decline in actual or predicted revenue over the next three-month period 1 April to 30 June 2020, when compared with the same months last year, and that decline is related to COVID-19.
