Hamilton City Council is currently reviewing the Management Plan for Hamilton Gardens, one of the city’s finest assets and the region’s most popular tourist attraction.
Hamilton Gardens is classified as a recreational reserve and its management is guided by the Reserves Act 1977. Section 41 of the Reserves Act requires Council to have a management plan for the Gardens – and the public gets a say.
The first opportunity for the community to provide input is currently underway. There is an Open Day at Hamilton Gardens on Sunday, 14 July, but if you are unable to attend, you can have your say online up until 26 July.
You can find out more about Hamilton Gardens by visiting its official website, www.hamiltongardens.co.nz
, or by reading the PDF below of the special Hamilton Gardens wrap-around which accompanied the 12 July City News.
Consultation now closed.
