All memorials must meet cemetery standards and be approved before installation.
All cemetery costs pertaining to the deceased must be paid in full before a memorial is installed.
Bronze, granite or porcelain plaques and headstones are arranged by family directly with your funeral director or a monumental mason or manufacturer, such as those listed below.
This form (PFD, 73KB) is to be completed by the plot 'owner' (as verified against the cemetery records) to authorise someone, such as another family member, to arrange for a memorial to be made and placed on the relevant plot. The completed form, if required, is to be returned to Hamilton Park Cemetery office either with the memorial permit or anytime prior to a permit being processed. For any questions concerning this process please contact Hamilton Park Cemetery office.
A permit (PDF, 173KB) is required and must be submitted to the cemetery before the memorial is installed. We recommend that the permit is submitted before the memorial is made to ensure the proposed details comply with the specifications relating to the location as each lawn or ash burial area has its own specifications (PDF, 55 KB).
Should there be some question as to who is the current Burial Rights holder, then the second page of the permit may be required to be completed in the presence of a Justice of the Peace. For any questions concerning this process please contact Hamilton Park Cemetery office.
There is also a fee associated with this permitting process. See Fees and Charges for more information.
