Development contribution policies

​​​​​Your development contributions will be assessed under the policy that was in force at the time that the application for a resource consent, building consent, certificate of acceptance and/or service connection was submitted, accompanied by all required information.

Development Contributions Policy 2019/20​20 ​​

​If your consent or service connection was lodged on or between 1 July 2019 and 30 June 2020 then your development contributions will be assessed under the 2019/20 Development Contributions Policy.

Development Contributions Policy 2018/2019

​If your consent or service connection was lodged on or between 1 July 2018 and 30 June 2019 then your development contributions will be assessed under the 2018/19​ Development Contributions Policy.

Development Contributions Policy 2016/17​

​If your consent or service connection was lodged on or between 1 July 2016 and 30 June 2018 then your development contributions will be assessed under the 2016/17 Development Contributions Policy.

Development Contributions Policy 2015/16 

​If your consent or service connection was lodged between 1 July 2015 and 30 June 2016 then your development contributions will be assessed under the 2015/16 Development Contributions Policy.

Development Contributions Policy 2013/14

If your consent or service connection was lodged between 1 July 2013 and 30 June 2015 then your development contributions will be assessed under the 2013/14 Development Contributions Policy.

Prior development contribution policies ​

If your consent or service connection was granted prior to 30 June 2013, please contact the Council's Development Contributions team for the policy relevant to your development.

For all consents, regardless of the date of lodgement or grant:

  • the community infrastructure charge will be zero, and
  • no Producers Price Index (PPI) adjustments will be added to your charge.
